Senior Pilates

As we age, natural changes occur in the body. Muscle strength decreases, balance can become more challenging and joints need extra care. Pilates is one of the most gentle - yet effective - forms of exercise for seniors because it combines strength, mobility and body awareness in a safe way.

Our senior pilates is a closed programme over 10 sessions, with a maximum of 7 participants and at a pace where everyone can participate. The exercises are adapted to the individual's level and we emphasise both strength building and gentle mobility training. This means that you get training that is safe and effective - and at the same time provides energy and well-being in everyday life.

Senior Pilates is offered as a regular class programme with a maximum of 7 participants.

This provides a safe training environment where you learn the exercises thoroughly and get continuity in your training. The instructor knows your starting point and can continuously adapt the exercises so that you experience progression as your body gets stronger and more mobile.

In the programme, we work especially with:

We train on our reformer/tower equipment combined with matwork exercises and the use of small props like light weights, barrels etc. 

A training community

You'll be part of a permanent team throughout the programme, which provides both security and motivation. When you train together week after week, you not only learn the exercises thoroughly, you also experience the community as an extra driving force.

About senior pilates 

The exercises are specially organised to strengthen muscles and joints without overloading. We work on balance, coordination and flexibility - factors that make a difference in everyday life and daily tasks.

The goal is to create more energy, stability and freedom of movement so you can keep your body strong and functional for years to come.

Classes are taught at a pace where everyone can participate. 

 

Who can train?

Our Pilates senior/gentle classes are for everyone - both men and women.

You don't need to have done Pilates before to participate.

Price: 1310 DKK incl. VAT for 10 fixed teaching sessions.  

Remember that we always train with non-slip socks - you can bring your own or buy them in the studio
