Pilates for men

Although Pilates and reformer are often associated with women, it was originally developed by a man - for men. Today, Pilates is part of the training of some of the world's best athletes because the exercises provide strength, stability and precision that can be felt both in everyday life and in sports.

Many men experience problems such as stiffness in the hips and back, limited mobility or an imbalance between strong arms/legs and weaker deep abdominal muscles. Pilates addresses these challenges through controlled and effective exercises that strengthen the whole body.

Pilates for men - strength, stability and performance

At Pilates Søborg you train in small classes with a maximum of 7 participants. This means that the instructor can provide individual guidance and ensure that the technique is spot on - an important factor when you want results that last.

We emphasise this in our programmes for men: 


We train on our reformer/tower equipment combined with matwork exercises and the use of small props like weights and barrels to give you variety and challenges that match your level.

Pilates can be a powerful supplement if you play sports like golf, tennis, cycling or running - because it works on core, mobility and precision that aren't necessarily an integral part of other training.

Whether your goal is better performance, fewer injuries or a stronger and more functional body in everyday life, you'll find that Pilates delivers results you can feel.

You train with the same team every time so your level and development can follow each other.

Who can train?

The class is suitable for all men regardless of age. You don't need to have done Pilates before to join.

Remember that we always train with non-slip socks - you can bring your own or buy them in the studio
